The wooden portion of this playgym is beautiful. Very well made and far more attractive than your average plastic version. However, my husband and I purchased this because we DID NOT want something manufactured in China. Says its made in New Zealand - great! However, the hanging toys that come with this product are indeed made in China! Grrr. Also, the toys are rather boring and we have resorted to adding our own toys that are more colourful, interactive and appropriate for viewing when a child is laying on his/her back. Overall, not worth the money... could have made the wooden part ourselves for a lot less $$$.
