In her New York based design studio, Sandy Chilewich continues to discover ways to push textiles beyond their comfortable and sometimes monotonous context. Her woven vinyl, which has become her signature textile for tabletop, floormats and bags, is currently available in a wide selection of weaves and colors. Sandy’s passion is finding underutilized, often overlooked manufacturing techniques, and from them produce fresh, modern textiles. Over the past 10 years, Sandy has added spun and tufted vinyls to her collections. Sandy prides herself on original design and strives to bring a fresh perspective to the table.


A wild and wispy tangle of foliage, the Rectangle Branch Placemat juxtaposes organic beauty with high-tech vinyl. Branch is the newest jacquard design in Chilewich’s seasonal homage to the garden. The pattern is reversible, with each side offering a unique metallic color variation.

Care and Maintenance:

Placemat should be stored flat to prevent permanent creasing

Clean using soap and water with a damp cloth

Should a stubborn stain occur, woven vinyl is very durable and can withstand aggressive scrubbing with a bleach based cleanser. This will remove the stain without altering the fabric

Do not iron. This is a vinyl product
